After a slight delay, the T-Mobile variant of OnePlus 6T started receiving the Android 10 based update. It features various new enhancements like improved gestures, enhanced permission control, better support for notch and much more. It is quite an essential upgrade as along with the new Android version, the device also received the December security patch. However, it is a bit disappointing that OnePlus took such a long time in stabilizing the firmware build for global OnePlus 6T.

The new build featuring version A6013_34_191228 enhances security and system stability. The general bug fixes will also improve the overall performance. It is solely for the T-Mobile units of OnePlus 6T. As far as the official changelog is concerned, it is as follows:
- Upgraded to Android 10 OS
- Android security patch update to December 2019
- Improved system stability and general bug fixes
The update weighs over 1.6GB, and we suggest you switch to the WiFi network for saving a few bucks. It is a staged rollout and may take few days to reach each unit of the OnePlus 6T bought from T-Mobile.
Additionally, the OnePlus 6T global version has already received the update. The Chinese company stalled the Android 10 update for three times due to persistent issues, but the fourth rollout went smoothly on most of the devices. We hope the T-Mobile variant hops smoothly after getting the Android 10 update.
