Google’s CEO, Larry Page has given Key of all Google’s Core Products to Sundar Pichai, Senior VP of Google. Now, Sundar Pichai will act as leader for Core Google Products. The ove will bring Google’s research, search, maps, Google+, commerce arms, Ad products and infrastructure under the Senior Vice President.
According to Re/Code, Page was reportedly flooded with reports and duties related to different Google units as the unit heads were directly reporting to him until now. This will change with Pichai becoming the go-to-guy for the aforementioned units, giving time for Larry Page to focus properly on new and existing products.
Additionally, Pichai joined Google back in 2004, later he quickly rised in the ranks and moved from Chrome lead, to head of Google’s Android division.
So, Larry Page can concentrate more on other stuff like Google X, Corporate sales and many other things.
