SugarSync added Video upload to its great App
Sugarsync’s new feature effectively lets users shoot videos, and then see them automatically appear on their desktop or laptop computers—or anywhere that SugarSync is installed—without so much as connecting a wire or pushing a button. The new Android app feature is part of SugarSync’s AutoSync technology, which already supports automatic syncing of photos, too. Because videos are typically large files, the AutoSync feature defaults to syncing when connected to Wi-Fi only and not over a 3G or 4G network—so that it doesn’t kill your phone’s battery or run up charges on your data plan. SugarSync today also updated its iPhone and iPad apps to give users more control over how their photos and videos are uploaded to their SugarSync cloud accounts, although iOS users don’t get the more advanced AutoSync feature that’s on the Android app. However, the updated iOS app does help users sync their mobile photos and videos, as well as better control the compression and quality settings. Plus the update also changes the display and sharing settings for the photo album gallery.
