The Sony Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact Compact is scheduled for a release at the IFA in September. Now that the even is almost around the corner, the leaks just keep getting better and better. Just yesterday, we saw a leaked blueprint showing the Z3 and the Z3 Compact’s dimensions. Today we have some leaked images of the Xperi Z3 Compact.
As you can see from the images, the Z3 Compact is an exact miniature of the Z3, replacing its flat edges with rounded ones which makes it easier to hold the device and also slide in and out of your pockets. Another change seems to be the positioning of the 20.7 MP camera lens and the LED flashlight.
On the side of the device, you’ll find that the microSD card and the microUSB port are now sharing a common flap rathet than two different flaps, which is good as the extra flap would’ve caused irregularities on the smooth curved sides. On the opposite sides, the size of the buttons have been increased. People who were complaining about the buttons being too small on the Z2 Compact will find this pleasant.
Other than the images, the leak has not provided us with much. The Z3 Compact is scheduled for its unveiling on September 3rd. For more info about the Z3 Compact, click here.
