Sony’s last year’s mid-range smartphone, Xperia XA Ultra now getting long-awaited Android Nougat update. The handset launched in July last year with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. With Android Nougat update, Xperia XA Ultra is getting all the goodies of Nougat such as improved Doze Mode, multi window support for better multitasking, app shortcuts, performance improvements and of course recent Android security patches etc.
The update is not yet available for all Xperia XA Ultra variants. For now, Xperia XA Ultra with versions F3211 (Europe) and F3212 (Dual SIM variant) getting Android Nougat update. Rest of the variants of Xperia XA Ultra will get the update soon. You can manually check for update by going into phone’s Settings -> About Phone -> Software update.
Sony Xperia XA Ultra was launched in July 2016. It has 6 inch 1080p IPS LCD display of resolution 1080 x 1920 pixels with pixel density of 367 ppi. The mobile is powers with octa-core MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 chipset and comes with 16 GB internal memory, 3 GB RAM and microSD card support up to 256 GB. It has 21.5 MP rear camera and 16 MP front camera.
The device has 2700 mAh Li-ion non-removable battery. Sony Xperia XA Ultra now available on amazon.in for around Rs. 22,000. It is very good mobile for watching videos and playing games because of huge 6 inch display.
