Sony Xperia U Passes Through FCC After Torn Down

The Sony Xperia U is one of three smartphones which were launched with Sony’s branding sans Ericsson. Sony’s one of the latest smartphone – Sony Xperia U with screen sized at 3.5 inches has gone past FCC after cutting down into pieces. Its formerly also know known as Sony Kumquat . If all goes as planned, it should become available in the second quarter of the year.

Additionaly, It’s a mid-range handset compared to the rest in this line with its 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, a 3.5 inch display, Android 2.3, 8GB of internal storage, a 5 megapixel rear camera, a VGA front camera and more.
