Sony is rolling out new update for Sony Xperia P, U, SOLA and Go/ This new software update includes some bug fixes and performance tweaks. This is not Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update, for that you need to wait more until new year  rises.
This new update includes fixes and advancements to WiFi, tethering/portable hotspot, camera (capture and playback), NFC and Messaging.
If you guys running ICS on Xperia SOLA, U, P and GO than you will receive OTA update otherwise if you are still using Ginger bread than you need PC Companion or Bridge for Mac to upgrade.
