Sony Smartwatch 3 not to Get Android Wear 2.0

Last week, Google rolled out Android Wear 2.0 with LG Watch. The new Android Wear 2.0 packs lots of changes and most of the Android Wear users want an upgrade. But due to hardware limitations not all existing smartwatches are going to get the upgrade. One of those watches is Sony Smartwatch 3.

Sony has officially confirmed by updating the product catalogue on their official website. They added, “SmartWatch 3 SWR50 supports up to Android Wear 1.5. Android Wear 2.0 and onwards are not supported.”

Well, we hope all guys already know that due to hardware limitations, Smartwatch 3 is not going to get the update. Even watches those are launched in 2015 are going to get the Android Wear 4.0.
