Earlier this year Sony outed schedule for ICS update for Xperia 2011 Models. Several Xperia Models received Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich this year. Now Sony has listed some Xperia 2011 and 2012 models which are eligible and will get Jelly Bean Update.
As per Sony, its latest models like Xperia T, Xperia TX and Xperia V will go on to receive the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean from mid-Q1 of 2013, which will be after January 2013. After the first round of Jelly Bean updates, Sony will move on to updating devices such as the Xperia S, Xperia Ion, and Xperia P. Other devices like Xperia acro S, Xperia go and Xperia J will surely be getting some Android 4.1 Jelly love but the time frame for the upgrade hasn’t been announced.
