Sony is currently working on a series of smartphones which has been revealed from several User Agent profiles uncovered on Sony Mobile’s site. The user agent profiles list Sony H81XX, H82XX and H83XX and all these smartphones will be released with Android Oreo out of the box.
First on the list, Sony H81XX could be released in at least two versions -H8116 and H8166. Both the smartphones sports 4K display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The display resolution of the devices confirm that these must be high-end smartphones running latest Android 8.0 Oreo OS. Both H8116 and H8166 could be the successors to Sony Xperia XZ Premium.
The 82XX series include 4 different models namely H8216, H8266, H8276, and H8296. All these smartphones have Full HD display and run Android Oreo. The smartphones could be the successors to Sony Xperia XZ1.
Lastly, the H83XX series includes Sony H8324 model. The handset boasts 1920 x 1080 resolution and also runs Android Oreo.
Sony is expected be working on smartphones with almost bezel-less displays which could be released by next year. However, the aspect ratio of above smartphones do not translate to 18:9 aspect ratio. Therefore, Sony’s smartphone fans need to wait for quite sometime for the company to join league of bezel-less displays.
