Android tablet market share has been declining at an alarming rate for the past few years. With the evolutions of foldables, we could see the tablet form factor to get wiped out from the eco-system altogether in near future. While it’s so, Samsung – the global leader hasn’t yet said no to the production of tablets. A new tablet by the Korean Giant has now surfaced on Geekbench revealing some of its key aspects.
The purported tablet which visited the Geekbench bears a model number SM-P615. Alternatively, Samsung is also working on another budget tablet with the model number SM-P610 according to a reliable source. Both the budget tablets are speculated to come with the Samsung’s iconic small piece of wand, the SPen.
As of the SM-P615, the Geekbench database spills some specifications of the tablet. As per the benchmark platform, it’ll be powered by the mediocre Exynos 9611 which infact is a staple SoC on most of the recent budget smartphones that Samsung has been throwing out to the market.
Moreover, the SM-P615 houses 4GB of RAM and will run the latest Android 10 out of the box. Perhaps, it might be the first ever Samsung tablet shipping with the Android 10. We’ve no idea when the tablet will be released. But, we can expect it to happen at any instance in the coming months.
