Samsung is sending a new software update to the Galaxy Tab S7 series. The build raises the security patch level to April 2021. Along with the bump in current security maintenance, the lineup is grabbing new camera features and enhancements in DeX mode, and productivity.
The latest package arrives on the firmware version T976BXXU2BUD2, T976BOXM2BUD2, and T976BXXU2BUD2 for Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+. Moreover, the update also includes bug fixes and stability improvements that weigh over 700MB in size. Consider the changelog below for further details.
The fresh over-the-air package is now making its way to compatible devices in Asia, Europe, and the UK. The rollout has yet to expand soon to any other country.
Furthermore, the update is rolling out in batches to the different serial numbers. So, Galaxy Tab S7 duo owners can expect the update notification to reach them anytime soon. But if you’re feeling particularly impatient, you can attempt triggering the download manually. To do this, head to Settings > Software update, and click Download and install.
