The flip phones were quite have been hit by the rocks, and wasn’t on the news for many years. But thanks to Samsung, we got an glimpse over an Android-powered Android flip phone, which seems more of an old gizmo with new specifications. And, for quite a days, we got to know about the different leaks suggesting about Samsung on it’s way to manufacture an Android powered flip phone, and today it is finally revealed out that Samsung had unveiled their new Flip phone called as “Samsung Hennessy”.
While the form-factor is pretty cool, it’s the specs of samsung hennessy most of you care about, so here they are:
- Two 3.3-inch 320×480 touch screens
- 1.2 Ghz Quad-Core CPU
- 1GB of RAM
- microSD card slot
- 5 Megapixel rear-facing camera
- Android 4.1 with TouchWiz
- 1,5000 mAh Battery
There’s no word of storage, but it said to be in and around 4 Gb to 8 Gb.  As for the rest of the device, well there’s support for both CDMA and GSM bands, which is common in China but not so much in the rest of the world. This is also very much a device destined for the Asian market, so don’t hold your breath for a comeback of the flip-phone in the States.
We’re not sure if it is coming to the rest of the world or not, but Samsung is hugely popular with flip phones in Asian Markets so it is logical that they are opting for ASian markets rather than any other markets.
