Samsung to soon launch its Galaxy S8 Lite and Galaxy A8 Star devices in China

A few days back some leaks were prevailing in the market about the alleged Galaxy S9 Mini handset. Earlier the device also got benchmarked which has revealed its rough performance scores. As revealed by a Twitter account @MMDDJ_ the device was expected to be launched as the Galaxy S9 Mini. Now some updated information is coming from the same source which hints that the device would be known by some other name. So let’s check out some in-depth information surrounding it.

Currently, two new handsets with model numbers SM-G8750 and SM-G8850 are in the headlines. According to the refreshed details shared by the Twitter account @MMDDJ_ the SM-G8750 will be known as Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite whereas the SM-G8850 would be called as the Galaxy A8 Star. Disclosed by the old leaks, Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite(SM-G8750) comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

Complete specs of the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star(SM-G8850) has been already revealed. The device will come powered by an Exynos 9810 Octa-Core SoC coupled with optional 4GB/6GB of RAM. The device is expected to pack a 5.8(inch) Quad HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display. In terms of Camera, it will offer a Dual 12MP+12MP shooter with LED flash whereas in the front you will find an 8MP snapper.

Galaxy A8 Star will come with an IP68 rating which means it will be a dust and water resistant handset. Providing juice will be a 3000mAh battery and the device is expected to arrive in Blue and Black color options. For more updates, we have to wait for the official launch of the following devices.
