Once again, Samsung made it to the top spot in Android Market Share. Data gathered by Localytics surprised me as it states that HTC is at second spot with market penetration of upto 6.5 percent in Android Market.
Latest Figures are showing how Korean Manufacturer policy is working to gain big profits and market share overall in the Android Market. Samsung practically owns the global Android market with 63 percent of the pie. Comparing with other carriers, eight out of the 10 most popular Android phones manufactured by Samsung and company ‘s share is double of the total of manufacturers. Isn’t its great?
All together, HTC, LG, Sony, Motorola and all others make up less than 37% of total market share.
Coming onto Tablets Samsung has 5 Tablets of Galaxy Line up in top 10 positions. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 is at the top of the Android Market with share of upto 21.8%.
