Samsung provides three years of major Android and four years of security update support to its flagships. The Galaxy S21 series is one among the long list of eligible devices to grab Android 12. The company has now kick-started the development of the new Android OS for the lineup, which should bring the One UI 4.0 skin.

Now that Samsung has started the development of Android 12 for the Galaxy S21 series, the beta program will also begin rolling out soon. Also, as we’d expect, the Korean giant did not alliance with Google to push Android 12 Beta for its devices.
With Android 12 beta, Samsung will hopefully release the One UI 4.0 skin on top. The company adds new features and improvements with every iteration of One UI. Accordingly, the One UI 4.0 will surely come with a new UI, fresh attributes, and enhancements over the previous versions.
For all the Galaxy S21 family owners, reportedly, Samsung is also testing the One UI 3.5 build for the series. This means sooner or later, you will get the new major overhaul with all fresh features.
However, it is not yet clear when the company will release the new updated skin. Looking at the records, it will probably arrive with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 2 in July.
Interestingly, Samsung’s One UI 3.5 build is likely to arrive with the support for adaptive UI. Furthermore, it is expected to include new features, performance improvements, optimizations, enhanced security, and privacy, and a lot more.
