Samsung was the first smartphone brand to send the latest security maintenance to its smartphones. It’s almost been a month and the company is not yet done with the bumps, with the Galaxy A20, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A70 being the latest to join the April 2021 Android security patch update group.
The fresh software for the 2019 slate arrives on version number A205FNXXSABUD1 for the Galaxy A20 (SM-A205FN) in Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. While for the home country, the patch can be identified by firmware version A205SKSU7BUD2 for the Galaxy A20 (SM-A205S).
Concerning the Galaxy A30 (SM-A305F), the package has been designated as the release version A305FDDS6BUD4 in UAE. Along with the security patch, the device is also receiving a new software update.
Similar is the case with Galaxy A70 (SM-A705FN), the device is grabbing a new firmware version A705FNXXS5DUD1 in Ukraine which includes the current safety level update. Whereas the update arrived for the Galaxy A70 (SM-A7050) units in China and Hong Kong carries version number A7050ZxS5DUD1.
If you are a lucky Galaxy A20, Galaxy A30, or Galaxy A70 owner in your respective countries, hold on till the OTA update hits your devices. It should not take long but it does, you can track it manually via the Settings app -> Software update -> Download and install
Its staged deployment began in the dedicated countries and more regions are expected to follow shortly.
