Samsung rolls out Android 11 One UI 3.1 update to Galaxy Tab S5e

After rolling out the Android 11 One UI 3.1 update to its latest series, Samsung is looking back to its older flagships that are eligible to receive the build. The Korean giant is sending the latest firmware to Galaxy Tab S5e, which was packed with Android 9 Pie in Feb 2019.

The fresh package for the smartphone carries version number T72XXXU2DUD1. Of course, it brings the Android 11 goodies tossed with One UI 3.1 attributes. However, it does not include the latest April 2021 Android security patch but is expected to release soon.

For now, the Android 11 One UI 3.1 update is limited to Russia and the United Kingdom. It should reach other countries in the coming weeks.

The OTA build has already started hitting the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e units in the UK and Russia. if you haven’t received it yet, navigate to your device’s Settings -> Software update -> Check for update, click on Download and install if the update pops up.

As mentioned above, the device was launched in Feb 2019 with Android 9 (Pie). It powers Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Moving to the shooting section, the phone houses a rear 13MP lens and an 8MP front snapper. It packs a 7040 mAh battery 18W of fast charging support.
