Recently, a major update for the popular Hex Installer app for OneUI added #Hexed+ support. Which is nothing but additional customizability by breaking 60 overlays restriction of Galaxy Theme Engine. Nonetheless, on all OneUI devices except Galaxy S9/S9+ and Note 9, ADB or root access is required to enable #Hexed+ features. Here we’ll see how to do so via ADB.

Note: Below guide is for all OneUI devices except Galaxy S9/S9+ and Note9. The mentioned devices owners need not go through ADB process as they can install #Hexed+ by just enabling it from Hex Preference.
There are two parts in this setup process:
I. Phone Setup for ADB
II. PC Setup for ADB

After the completetion of above steps, you’ve to move towards your PC. Follow the below PC Setup steps.

II. PC Setup – WINDOWS

Once all these 100% done, you can turn off “Developer Options”.
Well, the above steps is for Windows PC. If you’d like to enable using a Linux PC, then follow the steps given below.
Similar to the Windows PC procedure, in this case as well there are two parts.
I. Phone Setup for ADB
II. PC Setup for ADB

Go through the same steps given above under Windows PC section.

Once all these 100% done, you can turn off “Developer Options” or “USB Debugging”
Upon successful ADB setup process, you’d see a new #Hexed+ Theme base installed on Galaxy Theme Store. Here after, you may build custom theme from the Hex Installer app incorporating the #Hexed+ ability.
