Samsung May Premier ‘Galaxy S 2+’

A certain Galaxy S 2+ showed up in An3DBenchXL’s benchmark database, with Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread on-board, WVGA display and a CPU clocking at 1.5GHz. The Galaxy S II has a 1.2GHz Exynos processor but the href=”http://www.samsung.com/” rel=”homepage” target=”_blank” title=”Samsung”>Samsung-made Google Galaxy Nexus on href=”http://www.sprint.com/” rel=”homepage” target=”_blank” title=”Sprint Nextel”>Sprint appears to have a 1.5GHz processor too.

If the Galaxy S II Plus shows up at the end of the month in Barcelona, it will be interesting to see whether it will pack Samsung’s own Exynos 4212 processor or the TI OMAP 4470, rumored to power the Google Galaxy Nexus refresh.
