As expected Samsung has launched its two new smartphones Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J5 Prime in India. Both the phones are the Mid-range Android Phones with little specs changes. However Galaxy J7 prime is officially available to buy for ₹18,790($280) in India where as Galaxy J5 Prime will be available by the end of September.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime features a 5.5 inch FHD TFT display 1920×1080 pixels with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4 , it is powered with 1.6GHz Exynos octa-core processor which is paired with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 256 GB via MicroSD card. Galaxy J7 Prime has a 13MP rear camera with an f/1.9 aperture and LED flash, an 8MP front camera with an f/1.9 aperture. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
Coming to the connectivity options Galaxy J7 Prime includes the 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.1, Micro-USB (with OTG), 3.5mm audio jack and a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button in terms of connectivity options. It is powered by a 3300mAh battery, and measures 151.5×74.9×8.1mm.
Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime is powered with 5-inch 720p display with a similar curved Gorilla Glass, it is powered by 1.6GHz Exynos octa-core processor which is paired with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which can be expandable via MicroSd card. It is packed with a 2,400mAH battery.
Moreover, According to Samsung, the smartphone will come with a special offer courtesy Vodafone where users get 10GB of 4G data at the price of 1GB for three months.
