In July 2019, Samsung officially launched an entry-level smartphone: Galaxy A10e with Android 9 (pie). A year ago the device was updated with Android 10 on its birthday. Now again, Galaxy A10e is grabbing another major OS update with Android 11.
The latest update for the Galaxy A10e is currently unfurling in the USA for model number SM-A102U. The build is rolling out through firmware version number A102USQUBCUFC. The units in other regions will probably get similar treatment soon.
Concerning changes, the package enhances the device’s privacy by inculcating the current security maintenance, July 2021. Moreover, it brings all the Android 11 features you’d expect to arrive like chat bubbles, smart device controls, and much more. The latest version of One UI will accompany this operating system.
Samsung Galaxy A10e is a low-end phone so it obviously does not offer many features. This update as well does not pack several features like on other expensive or mid-range Samsung smartphones. In fact, it lacks numerous traits that are limited to the upper category handsets.
Also, keep in note that Galaxy A10e was launched in 2019 with Android 9 Pie and this is the second major OS update for the device. Concluding, this is the last major OS update for the device. After this update, the phone will only receive the regular security patch levels for two more years.
As the update is having a phase-wise rollout, it may take some time to reach all the units. Meanwhile, you can head over to Settings > Software updates > Check for updates to check the update manually.
