Samsung Internet browser is known for its overhauled feature sets. Earlier, version 9.0 of the browser, which was sourced from the leaked firmware of Samsung Experience 10.0 beta, has brought a major redesign. As such another new version of the Samsung Internet 9.0 is here, with a brand new app icon.
The new Samsung Internet 9.0.00.44 is also obtained from the latest available Samsung Experience 10.0 based on Android Pie available for the Snapdragon powered Galaxy S9’s. Credit goes to the folks over at samsung.firmware.science for leaking the early build of Samsung’s Android Pie.
Unlike most of the other Samsung proprietary apps, the Samsung Internet can be installed on other non-Samsung devices too. So, we’re able to get it installed on some of the Huawei and Xiaomi devices all without any issue.
After a couple of hours of playing around with the latest Samsung Internet, our initial impression about the new redesigned browser is quite positive. It’s now faster, looks good with rounded corners applied on tabs and the night mode is worth the appreciation, which works pretty well on most of the web pages.
Obviously, this version of the Samsung Internet is not final as Samsung is in a bid to perfect the 9th edition of its own browser. Hence, we could expect a more stable and improved version of the browser to surface in coming days.
