Samsung’s First Android Wear powered smartwatch is getting the January Security Update. Samsung Gear live is the 2 year old device, But still gets the Security updates. Along with the security patch the update also includes the latest Google Play services.
If you haven’t received the notification update yet, then go to Settings>About>System Updates to check for the update manually. To start updating your Gear Live it is also recommended to have the latest Wear app on your smartphone. Before downloading the update, make sure you’re connected to a stable WiFi network. The Android Wear version number is 1.5.0.3653938.Â
Samsung has recently released this month security update on its Galaxy s6 and Note 5 already.
