Samsung is the maiden smartphone brand that started unfurling the March 2021 Security patch, even before Google. The rollout was initially started with the Galaxy Note 10 lineup, later followed by the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21 series, and several other smartphones. The latest security patch has now reached the Galaxy Z Fold 2.

The latest software is out in China and is expected to release in other regions as well. So if you are a Galaxy Z Fold 2 user, the update will soon hit your device as it is being rolled out in a staged manner. Alternatively, you can always track the update by heading to Settings > Software update and tap Download and install.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2
Galaxy Z Fold 2Â was disclosed last year on August 5 holding a 7.6-inch screen size with a Foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. It runs on Android 10 which is upgradable to Android 11 with the Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865+ chipset. The device features a triple rear camera consisting of 12 MP wide + 12 MP telephoto + 12 MP ultrawide sensors and a single 10 MP selfie lens. Z Fold 2 packs a 4500 mAh battery with 25W fast charging and fast wireless charging of 11W.
