At the beginning of this month, Samsung has sent a few new updates to the Galaxy Watch 3, Watch Active 2, etc. Presently, the Watch3 and Watch Active2 devices have begun receiving a new update with a few changes.
Talking about the Galaxy Watch3 update first, the firmware version R840XXU1BUE3 can identify the new update. It weighs about 73.05MB, and it is spinning out to model numbers SM-R840 and SM-R850 watches.
In contrast, the new update for the Galaxy Watch Active2 appears on the build variant R830XXU1DUE3. The update is rolling out to model numbers SM-R830 and SM-R820.
If we talk about the changes, the Galaxy Watch3 and Galaxy Watch Active2 updates appear with the same changelog. The firmware improves the Automatic walking/running icon display responsiveness, changes the ‘Not active time notification’ icon, and the terminal motion-related stabilization code has also been applied.
Both the updates are currently taking place only in Korean markets. So, it takes time to reach all the other markets across the world. However, the update can also be checked manually by establishing the connection in your smartphone via the Galaxy Wearable app.
