Samsung seems to be ready to launch this year’s model of Galaxy Tab A8. After hitting Geekbench, the device has arrived on FCC with model number SM-X205. The listing also reveals some other details of the device that you can read below.
This time, Samsung has decided to introduce the Galaxy Tab A8 (2021) in both LTE and Wi-Fi variants. The model spotted on FCC is the LTE version of the device, while the Wi-Fi variant will bear the model number SM-X200. The arrival of the device on FCC majorly reveals the charging details.
According to FCC, the Galaxy Tab A8 (2021) will pack an AE15-27 battery and an EP-TA50UWE charging adapter out of the box paired with an EP-DR140AWEUSB Type-C charging cable.
Apart from this, we do have some render leaks about the Galaxy Tab A8 (2021) with us. The tab is expected to feature a metal body design with thick bezels measuring 246.7 x 161.8 x 6.9mm in dimensions. The volume and power keys could be present on the right side accompanied by a USB Type-C port at the bottom alongside the 3.5mm headphone jack.
It can support a 10.4-inch FHD+ TFT display run by Android 11 out of the box. Under the hood, the Galaxy Tab A8 (2021) is tipped to draw power from the UNISOC T618 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. For shooting purposes, it is likely to carry an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front lens.
The Galaxy Tab A8 (2021) could probably ship with a mAh battery that will support 15W of fast charging. Also, it could debut in three color variants of Silver, Grey, and Gold.
