Samsung’s most affordable tablet, Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is now receiving the One UI 5.0 Core based on the Android 13 update in the umpteenth countries. The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite was launched with Android 11. The device has managed to receive two major Android OS updates, and this could be its last major Android OS update. Currently, the update is rolling out in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, and it is expected to be rolled out to other global countries soon.

The new Android 13 update has reached out with firmware version T220ZCU1CVL5. The update includes One UI Core 5.0 with the November 2022 security patch. So, download the Android 13 update on the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite by following the steps – Go to Settings > Click on Software Update > Click on Download and Install. Also, you can download and install the new update from the firmware database and flash it manually. Keep a backup of your data to prevent data loss.

So in the new One UI 5.0, the company has enhanced the UI design with more Colour Palette features, Stacked Widgets, easier lock screen customizations, bigger app icons for notifications, better widgets, better translucency effects in the notification bar, smoother animations, and transitions. Some new wallpaper has been added. Opt-in Notifications, new apps on the device have to ask for the required permission to send notifications.
Some stock apps like Camera, Samsung Keyboard, Samsung Gallery, and Samsung Internet have been improved. Introduced a new app language settings which is a part of the Android 13 update. A Watermark feature has been added to the Camera app and filter selection has been enhanced. But, the Security and Privacy option are now merged to make a simpler UI. The Connected Devices menu is added in the device Settings. Improved album customization and enhanced the look of Stories in the Gallery app.
Samsung has added more accessibility features including quick setting toggles for high-contrast font, colour inversion, colour adjustment, and colour filter. Improved built-in photo editor can create stickers from any image, keep Portrait effects even after editing an image, better GIFs editing, draw perfect shapes, and add new stickers.
Now, Bixby Routines is known as “Modes & Routines” and the option is available in the Settings, and Bedtime Mode is now recalled as “Sleep Mode”. Controls over notifications have been improved and are convenient now. The Edge Panel now displays the names of applications as well. Samsung Internet lets you drag and drop bookmarks between any folders. Last but not least, The Digital Wellbeing app has been upgraded. Search Performance in the My Files has been improved so far.
