Samsung is working on new products and devices such as the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, the Galaxy Tab S9 series, and the Galaxy Smart Tag 2. The new Galaxy SmartTag2 already appeared on Bluetooth SIG, and today, it appeared on NRRA Korea. The listing on different public portals confirms the upcoming launch, most probably at the Galaxy Unpacked event which is taking place by July end.

Samsung Galaxy Smart Tag 1st generation appears to be getting a successor with some better features. As per the Bluetooth SIG listing, the Smart Tag 2 got listed with Bluetooth 5.3 which means better efficiency, improved range, and stable connectivity. The previous generation Smart Tag was introduced with Bluetooth 5.1 alongside the Galaxy S21.
The NRRA listing hardly reveals anything concrete about the upcoming Smart Tag 2, but confirms the imminent launch.
Apart from Bluetooth 5.3, we expect the next-generation tag to feature an advanced and loud beeper with enhanced security. Samsung could also surprise us with some more sophisticated features which in turn could help gain more market momentum.
However, the Galaxy Smart Tag 1st generation was launched in two different models, one supporting Bluetooth 5.0 and the other supporting Ultra Wide Band (UWB) which works with Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra.
