Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus spotted on FCC listings

Samsung is gearing up to launch their flagship smartphone for the year 2018 which is none other than Galaxy S9 duo. Previously, it was speculated that the Korean giant would be showing off their new flagship at CES 2018. However, they didn’t but did announce that the Galaxy S9 duo will be launching at MWC 2018 in late February.

Like any other smartphone recent years, the Galaxy S9 and S9 plus have been leaked plenty of times. The last major leak was the retail box one which revealed all the specifications that were not known previously. Now, once again the Galaxy S9 duo leak through official FCC listings.

The FCC listings reveal that the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 plus will carry the model numbers SM-G960 and SM-G965 respectively. Both the S9  and S9 plus will support all major GSM, CDMA, UMTS and LTE bands across the world. They will be manufactured in three countries, i.e China, Vietnam and Korea to fulfill the demands.

The US variants of the Galaxy S9 will come with the model numbers  SM-G960U and SM-G960U1 respectively, whereas the Canadian version will carry the model number SM-G960W. And the demo units for promotional purpose will come with the model number G960XU. The Galaxy S9 plus also has same model names, except 960 is replaced by 965. Currently, these four variants are approved by FCC.

Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 plus at MWC 2018 in Barcelona. But, we know almost everything these upcoming devices except for the price.
