It has been some time since the Samsung Galaxy S5 came out, and going by Samsung’s past trends it is time for the mini variant of the S5, the Galaxy S5 Mini to be out. And to back this trend up, an industry source has claimed that Samsung is preparing for a mid-July launch of the S5 Mini. The worldwide release this coming month will not be a surprise as Samsung released the Galaxy S4 Mini too last year around the same time.
The Galaxy S5 mini is something not many would consider a mini variant of the Galaxy S5, as it directly inherits some of the features form its predecessor. Some of these features are the fingerprint scanner, heart rate monitor, and full water and dust resistance. Kids mode, Private mode and the Ultra Power Saving mode which made their debut on the S5 will also be seen on the S5 Mini.
