As according to the rumors it seems that Samsung Galaxy S5 will soon get Android 4.4.3 Kitkat this month. Soon after the rollout to the Galaxy S5, Samsung will rollout the update to its predecessor, Galaxy S4.
If its true then Samsung is doing well, as this would be the fastest upgrade provided to its flagships. Last time it took half a year to provide Jelly Bean update to the one of predecessors of the Samsung Galaxy S series. A leaked document has gives rise to this rumors, which tells us that two Samsung Galaxy devices, namely the SM-G900F and SM-G900H will get their updates this month. The SM-G900F is the international unlocked version of the Galaxy S5 while the latter one is the variant available with American, Canadian and Latin telecommunication carriers.
The third device, named GT-I9506 is the Galaxy S4 will get its update next months as it is still in testing procedures. Also, if you have your phone on contract it may take some time before the update will be available on your phone as the carrier variant’s upgrade will need to go through a series of tests before getting approved.
Additionally, Until Now only Motorola has provided the Android 4.4.3 update to Moto G, Moto E and Moto X in US, Brazil and India after the Google’s Nexus devices.
