We all know that Samsung and its Galaxy Series have been game changers in the Smartphone and Android World and HTC One Series always been source of new technologies. Both HTC and Samsung are big players in the smartphone market and both of them have released their new flagship devices also. Samsung has recently revealed Galaxy S4 in NYC and we must say that it isn’t entirely different art piece. While HTC launched its HTC One smartphone with technologies like Zoe, Sense 5.0 and many more.
Both the titans have launched their respective phones with top notch hardware and new technologies. So in order to know which one is better Galaxy S4 or HTC One we did small comparison between them. Are you ready for Samsung Galaxy S4 vs. HTC One ? Here it is:
Design
In Design I personally like HTC One much more appealing that Samsung Galaxy S4. Samsung has used plastic for the Galaxy S4 while the anodized aluminum on HTC One may set a new benchmark for smartphone design.
Both the devices have same height but HTC One is 2 mm narrower and about 18 percent thicker. [divider]
Display
Display of every device always gives physical exposure to device. These days full HD (1080p) displays are essentially standard on high-end mobile phones. Well Samsung Galaxy S4 packs a 5 inch full HD Super AMOLED Display with resolution of 1,920×1,080 pixels at 441ppi. On other hand HTC One stand out with 4.7 inch LCD giving resolution of 1,920×1,080 pixels at 468ppi. Now from the specs its clear that HTC One have edge over Galaxy S4 but its not much bigger.
But still winner is HTC One.[divider]
Hardware
As we all know Hardware is the spinal cord of any mobile device and without better hardware its not easy get sales. Here both, the Galaxy S4 and HTC One packs best hardware available. Both the devices are powered by a Qualcomm’s latest quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor but Galaxy S4’s run at 1.9 Ghz (US Variant) and HTC One’s at 1.7 Ghz, giving 40 % better performance than the Snapdragon S4 Pro processor.
International variant of the Galaxy S4 have Exynos 5 Octa processor running at speed of 1.6 Ghz while HTC One runs on same processor. Both he devices are fueled by a 2GB of RAM.
According to Geekbench benchmark results HTC One device turned in a score of 2,632, and the Galaxy S4 on the same test recorded 3,163).
So its clear that Galaxy S4 is way ahead of the HTC One.[divider]
Camera
As Hardware is getting boosts with launch of every device similarly Cameras get regular updates to improve their quality. Both the devices have different type of cameras, HTC One uses Ultrapixel and Galaxy S4 comes with Megapixels. The Samsung Galaxy S4 features a 13 MP camera on back and 2 MP on front which appears to deliver good-looking photos. HTC One comes bolted with 4-megapixel Ultrapixel shooter which uses a larger sensor than other phones to capture up to 300 percent more light and front camera packs simple 2.1 MP sensor.
With these specs we can’t conclude whose camera is best. So we’ll look forward to some lengthy hands-on time, but – in the meantime – we expect both to have good to great image quality.[divider]
