Samsung has been working on the new Galaxy S23 Series and soon we will be able to see an official announcement regarding the series. The new Galaxy S23 Series will have three models that include the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. Previously, these models – Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus were spotted on the FCC certification and Galaxy S23 Ultra was spotted on the Chinese telecom TENAA certification website, where the certification revealed that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have a 108-megapixel primary camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, S-Pen support, and more.
The company is reported to launch the new Galaxy S23 Series in Q1 of next year. According to reports, the Galaxy S23 Series is likely to launch in the first week of February. However, Samsung has not revealed any updates about the plans for the launch event yet. But, the latest update suggests that Samsung can delay the launch event for the Galaxy S23 Series. It can be postponed to mid or end of February 2023.
As per leaks and certifications, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will feature a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display. It will have a QHD+ resolution with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. Surprisingly, the brightness of the device is reported to be 2200 nits which are higher than the iPhone 14 Pro. So according to TENAA, the device seems to feature a 108-megapixel primary sensor + 12-megapixel telephoto + 12-megapixel depth + 2-megapixel quad camera. On the front, it brings a 12MP snapper as a selfie camera. The Galaxy S23 ultra will be loaded with a 5000mAh mega battery with a 45-watt fast charger and 15-watt wireless charging support.
The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus are said to have the same camera design and hardware support. They will have a triple camera layout and will have a flat frame design. The Galaxy S23 will feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ 120Hz punch-hole display and the Galaxy S23 Plus will feature a 6.6-inch FHD+ 120Hz punch-hole display.
Both models will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera + a 12-megapixel ultra-wide and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens triple camera. On the front, it will reportedly bring a 12-megapixel snapper as a front camera.
The Galaxy S23 could have a 3900mAh battery with 25-watt fast charge but S23 Plus could load a 4700mAh battery with 43-watt fast charging and 15-watt wireless charging. It can be seen with One UI 5.0 based on Android 13 out of the box.
