A recent leak indicated that Samsung is all geared up to launch the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, the Galaxy Fold 3, and the Galaxy Z flip 3. The leak indicated that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S21 FE in an Unpacked event on August 19th. Now, renders of the device have appeared online revealing key details of the device. To recall, Samsung doesn’t have any plans to launch a dedicated Note device this year.
Popular leakster Evan Blass posted renders of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE on Twitter. In the leaked renders, we can see 4 different color variants- Black, Olive Green, Purple, and White. If the renders are accurate, the device will be seen sporting a triple rear camera setup in a vertical fashion. The LED flash can be found alongside the camera setup. The design of the camera unit is strikingly similar to Samsung’s own S21 lineup. On the front, the device seems to sport rounded corners. The selfie camera is housed in a center punch-hole cutout. The volume rockers as well as the lock button can be found on the right edge of the device.
According to leaks, the device could sport a 6.4″ AMOLED display. The screen will have support for a 120Hz high refresh rate. The device will be powered by the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 888 and run OneUI 3.1 skin based on Android 11. It is rumored to be slightly smaller than the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE in terms of dimensions. The device is leaked to house a 4,500 mAh Battery. It is alleged to sport a 12MP main camera, and a 32MP selfie camera. It will feature a triple camera setup as evident from the renders. Talking about ports, the device might skip out on the 3.5mm headphone jack. It will charge via the Type-C port.
In terms of pricing, we expect it to be cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy S21’s launch price. The FE lineup is Samsung’s version of an affordable flagship. To recall, the FE in the naming stands for Fan Edition. Samsung had also recently launched the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G in the Indian market at an affordable price compared to its premium flagships.
