The South Korean giant has added a new device to its Galaxy S20 Series named Galaxy S20 FE 5G. However, the 4G and 5G variants of Galaxy S20 FE were already debuted last year in the United States. Now, the company has launched the device in India today, featuring a Snapdragon 865 SoC, 6.5-inch display, 120Hz refresh rate, triple rear camera, etc.

Coming to the specifications, the phone sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ coupled with a 1080 x 2400 pixels Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display, a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is also built with IP68 dust- and water-resistant. The Octa-core processor based Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC powers the drive. Moreover, the device is available in only one variant, i.e. 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. Furthermore, it is expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card.
Talking about the camera, the 5G variant has the same rear and front cameras as of 4G variant. It features a triple rear camera which incorporates a 12MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.2), and an 8MP telephoto sensor. On the front part, it houses a 32MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0 lens.
Out of the box, the phone runs Android 10 and packs a 4,500 mAh battery with support for Wireless Charging 2.0. There’s also an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. In-connectivity, it houses Wi-Fi, 5G, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, etc. The sensors on the board include an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light, proximity, hall sensor, etc.
Price and Availability
The smartphone carries a price tag of Rs. 55,999 for the single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Interestingly, the phone is available for purchase at Rs. 47,999 with Rs. 8,000 as instant cashback.
The phone is available for purchase in Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, and Cloud Navy colour options. The Galaxy S20 FE will be available on Samsung’s official online store, Amazon, and other major selected offline stores from March 31.
