The Samsung Galaxy S10 based on Verizon and Sprint networks and unlocked Galaxy Note 9S is receiving May 2020 security patch update in the US. The new updates are gradually rolling out to their respective smartphones. All these devices are receiving the security patch with no extra feature upgrade.
Talking about the Unlocked Galaxy Note 9 first, the smartphone is receiving a new update with firmware version N960U1UES4DTD1. Apart from the May 2020 Security patch, the update doe not feature any extra amenity for the device. The update is rolling out in the US and will become available in the coming few days. You can manually check the update by heading to the Settings on your Galaxy Note 9.
Unfortunately, the long-awaited One UI 2.1 update is still not in sight for the Unlocked Galaxy Note 9. However, we hope the Korean giant should soon push the device before launching the new member of the Galaxy Note series.

Verizon and Sprint Galaxy S10 5G May 2020 Security Update
After bringing the latest security patch update for Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy Fold, and Galaxy Note 10 and S10, the Sprint and Verizon based Galaxy S10 5G is receiving the same update in the US. The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G users are receiving the new update on Sprint with firmware version G977PVPS4CTD5 while firmware version G977PVPS4CTD5 on Verizon.
Apart from eh security update, there’s nothing extra available in the update. It may take some time to reach the update on all units.
Galaxy S10 5G specs
The smartphone hosts a large 6.7-inch dynamic AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. It comes powered with Exynos 9820 globally and Snapdragon 855 in the US. It is available in 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 8GB RAM + 512GB storage variants.
