Smartphones usually are first advertised by their manufacturer, released into the market and then make their way to online retailing websites. However, there are instances when this order gets fumbled up. Something similar seems to have happened on Indian retailing website Flipkart. The e-commerce website is gearing up for its Big Billion day and has set up a dedicated page for the event. On the bottom of the page however, in the “Special thanks to our partner” section features a yet unreleased device: the Samsung galaxy On8.
This is the first time any news about the Galaxy On8 has surfaced. Interestingly, Flipkart had been teasing a device with a full HD super AMOLED display for some time and the fact that the On8 has been mentioned as one of the partners could mean that this is the device Flipkart was talking about. There’s also a high probability the device will be released during the Big Billion Day event itself, so watch out.
