Samsung Note FE was launched way back in July 2017. During the time Samsung was going through the Note 7 disaster, multiple fire incidents of Note 7 put the reputation of Samsung at stake. At that time, Samsung Note FE was the device to take up the task of stitching Samsung’s torn reputation.
Now, the best thing Samsung has done for the Note FE users who trusted the brand at tough times is not forgetting them. Samsung has started rolling out the latest Android 9.0 update for the Note FE. Along with the Pie update, OneUI is also being packed along with the update.
It carries features which are quite similar to Note 7. The major difference in Note FE is its reduced battery capacity. Rest of the device specs include a 5.7-inch HD Super AMOLED display. Further, there’s a 12MP OIS rear camera. It is powered by Exynos 8890 chipset and runs on Android 9.
One thing we simply learned that Samsung provides support for updates on devices for more than two years old.
For now, the update has been available for users in Saudi, and will soon be rolled out to other countries.
