Samsung Galaxy Note 8 starts getting February Security Patch

Android Security patch for the month of February is rolling out on Galaxy Note 8.  The update comes with the firmware build no. N950FXXS3BRB2. Which packs with the some bug fixes along with latest security patch.

The update weighs around 559 MB in size. It mainly packs with security optimization and improvements. February security patch includes the 237 fixes, in this 16 fixes are based on Samsung Phones. The update makes the  Secure folder safer, as well as the Gallery app and the software that allows you to use the Galaxy Note 8 in a DeX dock.

However, Galaxy Note 8 users are waiting for Android 8.0 Oreo Update. But this update is based on Nougat, so users have to wait for the Oreo Update. Recently Samsung has rolled out Android 8.0 Oreo Update on its Galaxy S8 and S8+.

Coming back to the Note 8 update, it is currently rolling out in Europe. As this is an OTA update, it will take some time to reach each and every user. Meanwhile you can also check for the update by going through settings>>about phone>>software update. Before installing update do charge your phone upto 50%.
