Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is set for an official launch on August 23. Well, we already know pretty much about the upcoming Note flagship, thanks to numerous leaks and rumors that surfaced online from past few months. The leaks revealed hardware design, camera capabilities and key specifications about the device. Just a day before its official launch, press renders reveal Orchid Grey version of the smartphone. The image has been leaked courtesy of popular leakster Evan Blass.
Just like Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ devices, Samsung would be releasing the next Note device in multiple color variants. Since we have already seen Orchid Grey color variant for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, it seems quite prominent that we may see the same color option for the Galaxy Note 8.
Well, speaking of other specifications of the next Galaxy Note device, the flagship packs a large 6.3-inch super AMOLED display with resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone will be released in two variants, powered by Exynos 8895 chipset or Snapdragon 835 SoC along with 6GB of RAM. It is likely to be released with three storage variants– 64/128/256 GB.
Galaxy Note 8 is the first Samsung device to feature dual rear camera sensors. It sports 12-megapixel dual rear cameras with f/1.7 & f/2.4, OIS, phase detection autofocus, 2x optical zoom and dual-LED flash. The smartphone boasts an 8-megapixel secondary camera for capturing better selfies. The handset packs a non-removable Li-Ion 3,300mAh battery and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Followed by August 23 release, the device may be up for pre-order starting August 24 and is expected to be available for sale starting September 15.
