The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 runs Android 7.1.1 and is powered by a 3300mAh non removable battery. Note 8 is a dual SIM smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and a Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG, Headphones, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Is Note 8 a huge hit in its own home country?
In South Korea, the Note 8 hits the benchmark of a million selling, which is almost equal to $979. Apart from the regular Midnight Black, Orchid Gray and Deep Sea Blue colors, a 64GB Maple Gold color variant will be launched in South Korea shortly. With this move, Samsung surely hopes to stay ahead of the Apple 8/8Plus in the local market, which can potentially slow down Note 8 sales.
