Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Gets the June Android Security Patch in Australia

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 starts getting Android Security patch for June in Australia. In Australia it is the first Samsung Device to get it. The upgrade transports all of Google’s latest patches to the handset, in addition to a plethora of Samsung-specific optimizations, which includes a much-needed patch for a vulnerability that enabled prying eyes to bypass the lock screen using a USB cable.

If you own an Australian variant of Galaxy Note 5 than the update is ready for you which includes the June’s Android security patch. Although it is currently rolling out but may take some time to reach if you did not get the notification yet, then you can also manually check for it by heading to your phone’s Settings menu.

Moreover, Samsung flagship devices Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge already get the June Security Update a week ago.
