Samsung is rolling Android 7.0 Nougat update on its Galaxy Note 5 in Turkey. Earlier in last month Samsung released the Android Nougat update roadmap in which it is said that Note 5 might get Android 7.0 Nougat by the mid March. So the long wait of users are now over.
According to some users the update is coming with the firmware build number N920CXXU3CQC7. The update weighs 1.3GB in size and includes all the basic Android 7.0 goodies. For example the split-screen multitasking, customizable quick settings, improved Google keyboard, enhanced notifications and recent applications window. Along with all these features update also includes December security Patch.
With this news we expect the update to soon roll out in other markets also. Samsung is rolling out an OTA update it should hit your devices anytime soon, if it has not yet. However, if you do not want to wait for it, you can either manually check it by heading to Settings » About device » System updates, or you can download the full firmware from the link below.
