Samsung seems to be very concerned about security issues. Now the company constantly updating all of its devices no matter they are latest flagship devices or are several years old. Following the roll out of July security patch to the Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 edge and the Note 5. Now Samsung is rolling out the same to the Galaxy Note 4 which was released 3 years back.
The security patch for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is sized around 200 MB. The Update comes with the version number N910FXXS1DQG5. The update is said to fix over 65 common vulnerabilities and exposures in the Android Operating system. Almost 16 weaknesses in the Galaxy models are also fixed in this update.
The update is currently rolling out in the form of OTA to the Note 4 devices in Europe. You might receive the notification on your phone. You can also manually check for the update by visiting Settings->About Phone->System Updates. Just make sure you have at least 50% of battery remaining and a reliable WiFi connection before you install the update on your Galaxy Note 4.
