Samsung has started rolling out March 2021 security patch to Galaxy Note 20 series.
Many smartphones and tablets including Galaxy Fold, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Tab 7, and Galaxy A8 have already received the update. Now Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra are receiving the March 2021 security patch in European markets.
The latest update carries firmware version N97xFXXU6FUBD for Galaxy Note 20 and N986BXXS1DUC1 for Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. The download file size is around 1GB.
Many minor changes also come along with the update. There are fixes for known issues, stability improvements, and optimizations. The March 2021 security patch fixes three critical issues related to the Exynos 990 processor and 16 others. However, there are significant changes that come along with the update, but they are noticeable.
The update has already started rolling out in Europe for Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. It is ready to roll out and reach all units within a week. If you still haven’t received the update, you can go to Settings>About>System Updates and download and install. Make sure to have a stable Wi-Fi connection and 60% charging on your device before updating it.
