Samsung is doing well in the smartphone business both in premium and budget segments. As Huawei is under pressure, the South Korean giant is here to stay at the top of the ladder in smartphone shipments. Expanding its portfolio, Samsung is expected to announce Galaxy A90 and Galaxy Note 10 sometime in the future. Both of these forthcoming smartphones gets spotted on Geekbench revealing certain specifications.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10
This is not the first time the Galaxy Note 10 has been leaked. Previous leaks suggested 19:9 display, absence of headphone jack and possibly no physical keys as well. The new Geeekbench listing reveals even more of the next big thing from Samsung. Two variants of the Galaxy Note 10 gets spotted on Geekbench and both of them are expected to support 5G but will feature different SoCs and modems.
The one with model number SM-N976V (Verizon Wireless) which was leaked earlier via HTML5Test will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 according to the listing. Hence, it will come with the popular Snapdragon X50 modem which is currently present on all 5G smartphones. On the other hand, the second one bearing the model number SM-N976B will feature Exynos 9825 which is rumoured to be the first 7nm chipset from Samsung with an integrated 5G modem.
Though both the models will come with different chipsets, they will run One UI based on Android Pie out of the box. The other difference between the two models will be RAM. The Geekbench listing reveals only 8GB RAM for the Exynos variant whereas the Snapdragon variant will arrive with 12GB RAM. However, there could be an Exynos variant with 12GB RAM but no information is available right now regarding it.
Samsung Galaxy A90
The Galaxy A90 also gets spotted on Geekbench along with the two variants of Galaxy Note 10. According to the listing, the upcoming Galaxy A90 will bear the model number SM-A9050 and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 like the Redmi Note 7 Pro and Galaxy M40 which is also yet to debut. It will come with 6GB RAM and will run One UI based on Android Pie out of the box. The previous leak suggested that it will have the same design as the Galaxy A80.
