Samsung Galaxy Nexus Users Report Jelly Bean GPS Bug, Fix Available

After long awaited Jelly Bean update on Galaxy Nexus now GPS bug arises out of the update. Bug renders the functionality unusable. To check out that is your device affected you need to go at a place where GPS signal can be received. Then open Google Maps and check if a “Searching for GPS…” notification appears. If you get the notification and the blinking GPS icon is absent, then your device is affected.

But you not need to worry because bug fix is also here. You need to go to device’s Settings. From there, tap on Location Services. Once in there, owners will want to uncheck and then re-check the Google location service option. That’s it.
