Samsung, the most popular smartphone brand in India has recently launched Galaxy On Max as its new contender for the mid-range segment. Most of the smartphone users in India prefer mid-range devices over flagship smartphones. Samsung, being quite seasoned in the Indian market knows the fact and is constantly focusing on the mid-range segment.
Samsung Galaxy On Max will be Flipkart exclusive and the sale starts July 10 at 23:59 hrs. There is an introductory offer for Standard Chartered credit or debit card users who can avail flat ₹2,000 off while buying the smartphone. The smartphone with a price tag of ₹16,900 will directly compete with other mid-rangers like Moto G5 Plus, Oppo F1S, Nokia 6 etc.
As per Samsung, the smartphone’s main highlight is its Flagship camera. Galaxy On Max boasts 13MP sensors and LED flash modules on the front and back. Both rear and front cameras on the device with f/1.7 and f/1.9 aperture offers better photos in low-lighting conditions. Samsung has also added a new ‘social camera mode’ feature that allows users to capture and share moments on the go. Moreover, the device also supports Samsung Pay Mini.
Among other specifications, the device packs a 5.7-inch full HD display. It is powered by Mediatek MTK P25 Octa Core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz and comes with 4GB of RAM. It offers 32GB of on-board storage which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. Galaxy On Max is backed by 3,300mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
