Samsung Galaxy M31s was launched in mid-2020 running Android 10 based One UI 2.5. Recently, the company has released the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update to mid-range smartphones like Galaxy M21, Galaxy M30s, Galaxy M31 and Galaxy A51. Now, Galaxy M31s is the latest smartphone to receive Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update. The new software carries a firmware version M317FXXU2CUB1. The new update is rolling out to Galaxy M31s in Russia and Ukraine.
The new software update also features the latest security patch which will improve the overall security. It is also expected to have the Android 11 features like Chat bubbles, media controls, one-time permissions, permissions auto reset, notification history etc. There will be One UI 3.0 features such as fast access to widgets, bubble support, notifications revamp, volume controls, etc.
To check updates manually, you can navigate to Settings >Software Update >Check updates > Download and Install.
